Fertility Associates of Memphis is pleased to introduce its newest team member, Dr. B. Todd Chappell.

B. Todd Chappell, M.D.

Dr. Chappell is a board-certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is also an expert in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, with more than 15 years of experience.

In his new role at FAM, Dr. Chappell will focus on infertility evaluations and surgery, while Drs. Brezina, Bailey, and Ke will continue their current practice pattern. This strategic approach will allow the practice to dedicate more time to its expanding IVF program, ensuring that every hopeful family receives personalized care. As previously announced, Dr. Kutteh is stepping down from full-time clinical practice over the coming months to focus on teaching the next generation of physicians.

Dr. Chappell will begin seeing patients in early May.

Born and raised in northwest Tennessee, Dr. Chappell graduated from the University of Memphis in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in 2005 and completed his residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2009, serving as administrative chief resident in his final year.

He is a member of the American Medical Association, Tennessee Medical Association, Memphis Medical Society, and Memphis OB/GYN Society. Highly recommended by patients, he was named a Memphis Top Doctor by Memphis Magazine in 2022 and 2023.

When not helping patients, Dr. Chappell enjoys spending time with his wife Katey, family, friends, and his dog Emma. He is an avid University of Memphis supporter and attends as many Tiger football and basketball games as possible. He also enjoys cheering on the Memphis Grizzlies.
