Amelia Bailey, M.D.

Dr. Amelia Purser Bailey is the Director of Fertility Preservation at Fertility Associates of Memphis and board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Bailey is also board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Bailey was an Instructor at Harvard Medical School and a Visiting Scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology while completing her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Brigham and Women’s Hospital / Harvard Medical School in Boston, Mass.  She was the Chief Resident of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville, Va., and she earned her medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Miss.  Dr. Bailey graduated from the Honors College at the University of Mississippi where she was a Carrier Scholar, inducted into the Hall of Fame, and a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

Dr. Bailey has authored more than 20 research publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals and delivered more than 50 lectures in the field.  She has received multiple teaching and patient satisfaction awards reflecting her focus on patient-centered care.  In addition to treating all areas of infertility, her special interests include robotic surgery and the treatment of congenital abnormalities of the reproductive tract.
